Decatur’s newest dog park is located near the Point Mallard Park complex, about half a mile northwest of the golf course, and is one of three off-leash options the city now offers residents. The city installed sun shade structures at opening and planned water station additions shortly after. It complements the older Wolverine Park area and is managed by Decatur Parks and Recreation.
